Vahe Gevorgyan
Vahe Gevorgyan has been the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia as of September 7, 2021.
In 1994 he graduated from the Faculty of History of the Yerevan State University. In 2005-2007 he studied at the University of South Carolina. More
He has been occupying various positions at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia since 1997, inter alia, as the Head of Division at Department of Asia, Oceania and Africa, Head of Division at Department of International Security and Arms Control (2013-2017) and Advisor to the Minister of Foreign Affairs (2019-2021). In 2001-2004 Vahe Gevorgyan served as Second Secretary at the Embassy of the Republic of Armenia in China, in 2009-2011 as First Secretary at the Permanent Mission of the Republic of Armenia to the UN Office in Geneva. In 2011-2013 and 2017-2019 he was the Deputy Permanent Representative of Armenia to the OSCE. Vahe Gevorgyan has the diplomatic rank of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary.
